The human voice - that is more than just speaking and singing. It is an unrestricted mean of communication as an expression of the untold, as an object of desire for a sounding fetish on and off-stage, and a bearer of cultural identity and inevitably political statements from the intimate core of human body technology. In a half-day workshop, the Brazilian vocalist, performer and composer Marcela Lucatelli gives insight into various vocal techniques that she uses in her musical practice. Together we will improvise, explore connections between breath, voice and movement and discover new vocal potentialities. The workshop is open to all who are interested in voice in terms of performance, singing, music and theater.
