German premiere of ''Four Lilith Valses'' (2019), a composition by the Brazilian-Danish composer Marcela Lucatelli, performed by the young, virtuoso pianist Leonhard Dering. The premiere will take place at Naxos Kino in Frankfurt, on the occasion of the documentary screening for ''Komponistinnen''. The documentary follows the traces of life and work by four composers of the 19th century, whose works are rarely performed despite their importance and quality: Fanny Hensel (1805-1847), Emilie Mayer (1812-1883), Lili Boulanger (1893-1918) and Mélanie Bonis (1858-1937). The filmmakers Kyra Steckeweh and Tim van Beveren as well as the Frankfurt-based musician Heike Matthiesen, head of the archive archive Frau und Musik, will be there for further panel discussion on the film and related topics. Moderation by Reinhild Bernet.
